I'm in the process of researching my Granddad's time at sea. I've found some info on some ships, but not much on where they went. I was wondering if there is any info available?
He was a merchant seaman in the 1950s mainly.
Here are the first ten ships he was on-

- SCOTTISH EAGLE, NEWCASTLE/ SOUTHAMPTON, 1953-4
- AVISVALE, MIDDLESBOROUGH/ GLASGOW, 1954
- CAPE HOWE, FALMOUTH, 1954
- CALTEX MOZAMBIQUE, TILBURY/ IMMINGHAM, 1954
- CALTEX WELLINGTON, NEWCASTLE, 1954-5
- BORDER LAIRD, NEWCASTLE/ AVONMOUTH, 1956
- BORDER LAIRD, SWANSEA/ NEWCASTLE, 1956-7
- THISTLEMUIR, MIDDLESBOROUGH/ MANCHESTER, 1957
- MERCIAN, LIVERPOOL, 1957
