Joined the British Centaur as EDH in 1967. Did one trip as EDH, then did the GP course in Liverpool and re joined the Centaur a few weeks later. I signed a company contract on that ship, and remained with BP until 1977. Great company I thought, when a lot of development within the company was going on. Prudhoe Bay, North Sea, Opening up markets in the US by buying up several US oil companies, bigger & bigger ships, though the number of ships was reduced. All very exciting I thought.
