Here in the Colony of Oz, which is frantically fragmenting into individual states at the moment due to Covid, a shandy is a mixture of whatever and lemonade or some such.
I don't touch the stuff, of course, which undoubtedly explains both my iggerance of such matters and the fact that I still have four litres of duty free Drambuie 'in stock'.
