Methane Bubble

Well what a sight this morning, I was out feeding the ducks and heard a rumble looked up to see a huge bubble 7-8 feet across rise from the lake bed followed by around 30 fish dormant on the surface, largest being about 12lb common carp and Perch, Roach etc from 3-4 ounces to 10-12 ounces.

Unfortunately did not have phone with me and time I got back from house no sign of any disturbance.

There is over 50ft of silt on the bottom and I assume it must have been methane

gas released to starve the fish of oxygen. Moral of the story ? keep the damn phone

with you.

Methane Bubble came up directly in front of bench about 20 feet out where it is around 12 feet deep.
