My dearest FJ I no knothing abart aforementioned Dynosirs, suggest you contact your oul china Dartskipper who introduced the damned things on board. He is a Marc Bolan fan.
The word DYNO has me thinking Varley has a hand in this pie, as we all know if there is a pie cooked V will be in the vicinity. Four and twenty Varleys baked in a pie as the nursery rhyme goes.

Yes, we have an excellent reference book called a "Dickshinery" which reminds me that the injuneering department has been somewhat negligent in recent weeks as the Golden Rivet is in need of a good deal of polishing to bring it to it's original resplendent glow.

Pie? S&K? Not as to my taste as the pudding version but ES, for once, has hit nail on head. Although rendition of nursery rhyme suggests that is where he has been hit too.

Talking of mechanical fixings, gold does not tarnish. Has someone been talking to the scrap man again? I wondered why there was the remains of a brass dolly left in the lathe chuck.

See how the old scouse vernacular emerges when meat is mentioned?

Hey Chuck some bugger sneaked Hilda Ogden onboard.
Careful or Stan will drink every drop of Mild in the Wardroom and if he brought Jack Duckworth with him watch your wallets.
The good news is that Bet Lynch and Vera Duckworth will polish the Golden Rivet for Tom. Stand by for heavy rolling. Sorry heavy petting.

What? Large dinosaurs and snakes with feathers? I must check the instrumentation on the Gripe still, I fear I might have allowed a little methyl to condense out. If I find anyone has been trying to rush production I'll stop feeding the pink elephant.

If we've got pink elephants aboard, we should harness them to the anchor capstan -- they've probably got a lot more get up and go to get the job done. The last time we hauled the anchor, there was a rain shower and the cutouts get up and go got up and went.

Don’t tell me I’m supposed to be an elephant trainer as well!

Having said that we do have elephants in Malaysia and in Vietnam too!

Simple "would you like a drink?"

Nod if you heard that.

Do you think I'm deef? I could hear you up by the capstan. Those elephants are quite well fed already all they need is to hear a hornpipe played and it'll be all "hoo-ray and up she rises".

Nelly asked me about trunk calls. Can one do that on the SP 'Phone?

Not at all - Nellie has gone for some dancing lessons so she can do a hornpipe and assist with the capstan.

That's good to hear. I figured you were not too affected by the wind, but wondered about the rain - I know you've had some serious flooding before and wondered how your new house withstood the onslaught?

I think we should all gather in the pax lounge for a "happy" drink to celebrate the good fortune.

Nellie will have to be fairly nimble on her pins to waltz in and around the Snap Back Zones on our wee foc'sle. Suggest she be made the winch operator, she can heave, veer and put on the brake at the same time, multi-tasking at its best and the spare hand can be retrained as Tmac's Tiger.
Capital idea, broons aaa roon, henny.

If Nelly's a hunting elephant I don't think the tiger would be very happy to have her in charge of the forecastle. A Can-can would not need so much space as a waltz, surely?

First I knew I was getting a Tiger and where pray am I supposed to keep such an animal in my injun room? Squeek and Eric are in a state of panic at such a development as they can see themselves as being lunch or perhaps just a snack.

Anyhoo before ANY additions to the injuneering crew are approved by moi I will require sight of said Tigers indentures and at least a 40 gallon drum of TSR located on the machinery flat. If you do not know what TSR is the Tiger will bunk in YOUR accommodation.

This ship is getting worse, chickens, pigs, assorted colours of elephant, rats, mice and squirrels and now tigers .... bloody floating zoo we are
