So that's what 'they' are called hereabouts. Different from Bougis Street. Which is which?

(And, sorry. I curried the lambleg).

Indeed a good night is going to be had by all.

In the words of the Immortal Bard of Avon;

Hurrah! Hurrah! We are the Billy Boys;
Hurrah! Hurrah! We make a lot of noise;
We're up to here, we never fear - we all are Billy's sons,
We are the Dreamers Billy Boys.

Not sure but maybe Mr Varley has a bass trombone or euphonium. sounded like that when I passed the radio shack this morning.

Just sampling the latest batch of maturing sausage and sprout washed down with some Malbec and Rochas Tawny. Either that or the last act of Don Giovanni done on voice pipe and BA Compressor. Go by the aroma (or if the Don was skipping down to hell along with il Commendatore it was probably the sausage and sprout surprise).

An early birthday present from the lady helper who has been skivvying over Christmas for me. A large tube of Volterol!

Would that be similar to Voltarol or is it a black market product made in a shed in Union Mills? The same shed that for many years turned out fake Viagra or as they called it Viagro. Strange place.

No, it's the electrical version. However I have got a bottle of Seven Kingdoms gin. Without being ungrateful it's a pound to a penny that it will be like Fynoderee - about 30 miles to the gallon when injected at the optimum crank angle but difficult to bunker when bought by the bottle.

IMHO there are too many chancers, very plausible chancers distilling gin. I have been called an oul fuddy-duddy, a cheap-skate and a tight arse but I refuse to buy or drink gin other than Gordon's or Cork Dry. In fairness Bombay Sapphire didn't kill me.

I have similar thoughts although I'd not turn my nose up at Tanqueray or Hendricks. There used only to be one tonic water too but there is now FeverTree lightas well as Schweppes Slimline (obviously neither work but they taste better than their full fat versions).

Next time I am passing a smoking heathen bathing bothie I will seek a sip of the dry cork (not normally a good sign in the keeping of booze).

Fino and brut also but never referring to the cork or, I understood, Cork.

You will have to leave without me lads, ES you are in charge so take her out gently and look after my babies until I escape from dry dock. Feckin' agony and even the fabled Black Bush is not effective.

I'll catch up with you later whenever Nurse Ratchett unties the restraints.

T, FFS it's for rubbing on not drinking.

I'll run the show till you are up and about but I insist in putting the two marsupials into the Duncairn Kennels. YM keeps calling them Joey and they keep kicking him . Most unsavoury behaviour in a well run engine room and a'm no havvin it.

Tmac, hope that you will soon be re-joining us.
ES is becoming even more of a tyrant by the day, especially since his stint on the bridge the other day.
Did he tell you about the big ding in the hull, perhaps it slipped his mind?
Don't worry though; it has been plated over, the wrinkles filled with bog and all 20 odd feet of it buffed to a mirror finish. Everything was also painted with the best water soluble paint available. Sorry the colour didn't quite match but the red and yellow were both on special.
It still leaks but one cannot have everything, I suppose.
No. The damage was not caused by lack of response to commands from the bridge by the ER .

Aragh Tmax don't listen to YM, our old friend Ozzie has his head turned and he thinks students from Oxford and Bristol Universities are going to sort out all our Empire Hero's. Theyre wearing red baseball caps with MEGA on them......

MAKE EMPIRE GREAT AGAIN

Poor old Gandi and Mugabe are very happy.

And anyways YM has written a BUMP in the Bell Book and in the Log Book he has a rambling story about GD2 running into the 12.15 from Loongana, de-railing it and suffering a dinge which he filled with "Bog".
Far far too much Bushmills 12 year old mixed with Varley's muck needs pumping out of his system, Sister Red lay to the Engine Room.

1215 Loongana. That was me and I saw no sign of the GD2 on the way - perhaps she was in stealth mode?
Loongana - great lunch there actually.
Better food than what many of you seem to have had at sea.
Only a short 48 km from Mundrabilla.

PS: Don't anyone mention the tennis or the cricket.

Parked train outside one of Loongana's many Michelin Starred Gourmet Restaurants for a spot of lunch. What-Ho Bertie Mundrabilla.
Hope youse washed the red dust off your hands and didn't blow your noses on the freshly starched Irish Linen napkins.
John Torode, a Melbourne chap, is opening a Gourmet Billabong in Mayfair, could be worth a try if he puts kangaroo sweetbreads on the menu.

One to you and your countrymen ES.
No matter where you are there is no substitute for starched Irish Table Linen albeit none at Mundrabilla or Loongana except on the passing Trans-Australian passenger trains. We really did import specially patterned Irish napkins and table cloths for the expresses back in the days.
Too late for you to bring some aboard the GD2 when you next return from leave, I suppose.
No good as sweaties though - too stiff!

Could I borrow you knees while you are not using them Chief? 4 days on Naproxen and still not back to pre Christmas pain level.

Someone should show E-S how a longitudinal float trial is done proper or at least proper enough to avoid that mess of snot in the linen napery. Now it will have to be laundered in the bogie stew instead of the hand-towel hotpot.

Management, indeed. How come the patent office has disbarred claims of perpetual motion when it is the sole supporting function of Management. Now management. There's a very rare beast indeed.

I find Vimovo good on occasion.

The overriding function of a Manager is to arrange a good pension fund for himself and then to recruit an assistant to do all his work.

How many ship management outfits were flush with assistant supers just before they got into financial difficulties and then laid everyone oiff.
