ES,
It's a paddle wheel from a European paddle steamer which manages to alter the angle of attack of the blades by all those rods, leavers, agricultural bearings and other thingys.
I found the puzzle difficult because so many bits looked the same in isolation. I also found it impossible to imagine in slow motion how it all worked even at the 44 rpm (IIRC) that I counted the engine revs at.
Hope that you found it equally difficult although I see that Tmac seems to have mastered it.
If you solved it in less than five minutes at 100 pieces I will shout you a small jar of vegemite (perhaps that is) ........

Thanks Neville.

I have cheated (as usual) in unrotating the pieces and reducing the cut to ~100. Usually takes me around 15 minutes each on this basis.

Haven't done the passenger vessel yet but here is one of mine in the meantime:

https://www.jigsawplanet.com/?rc=play&pid=1c9e59362ad7

It was an experimental attempt to be 'arty' using Photoshop.

Fills in the time as we are locked up (or down) for at least another week here in Victoria.

Morning Geoff,

Yes! see that everything is not rosy down under. Our cousin lives in Melbourne but not heard from him in a while. He wont be a happy bunny as he is very much into walking and exploring now he is retired. Amazed how few vaccinations have been carried out in OZ.

Will have a go at the jigsaws another time.

A couple more to test you:
1st is Svitzer Ellerby and the other an aircraft landing Bristol.
A clue with the aircraft is Aer Lingus.

Sorry not Manon - named after a German legend or a opera.

I can't eat sirloin steak because my teeth are not up to it and I can't do your saw-jigs because my eyes are not up to it.

Sorry.
