I think "maundering" is laundering with the addition of a good mangle. That's what has happened to that car, a shame really, I was hoping for a vehicle for use when in port. Mind you, perhaps a blessing, a nice long walk after a steady night on the beer can be beneficial (unless you are carrying an intoxicated colleague. Far better to get carried yourself, you might think, but a good round of dropping can be uncomfortable next day).

Ironing is pointless, it is like trying to play keepy-uppy with a stack of pancakes.

Indeed, I can swear in English, Norn Irn, Urdu, Hindustani, Bazaar Bat and a working knowledge of Geordie. So articulate am I that rarely have I had to resort to violence to make myself understood. Although the Chef has often gotten a smack in the chops for overcooked chitterlings. Won't have badly cooked chitterlings on my ship. MrV is also a faddy eater and has a mean left jab.

I must ask Mr V what a faddy tastes like. I have eaten many an exotic dish but for the life of me cannot recall ever dining on a faddy.

E-S is just 'miscallin' technicalities' again. He means I won't eat if I haven't scraped the Swarfega from under my fingernails. Now, bring me a pair of kiplings, just put under the grill for 2 minutes after a soaking in off-the boil Earl Gray. Season with the bandari's own masala and loin lotion and throw over the wall (see Marpol annex V for exceptions).

You can keep all that foreign stuff -- Steward - Prime rib of beef, medium rare, with the hot horseradish sauce, baked potato loaded with butter, sour cream bacon bits and chives, Brussels sprouts, parsnips and roast bell peppers, followed by creme brulee, assorted cheeses and crackers, coffee and cigars.

Yummmmmm!!

Thank you I will have that too.

Roast bell peppers? I am surprised at you. You'll get clappers stuck in your teeth.

Your Herrinks do not comply with any Annex of Marpol except, perhaps, packaged lumber. You should, quietly, give the recipe to MI 5 or MI 6 to put manners on old Putin.

Was going to fly the Blue Peter as we should leave tomorrow, but in this tropical island I couldn't find one any where. Then someone reminded me that it is actually international code flag "P".
Are here we are -- found it in the flag locker under letter "P" stuffed behind a bottle of Pimm's No. 1 Cup.

"All aboard, vessel is about to proceed sea."

At risk of repeating myself, all hands report to the air conditioned PAX lounge for departure libations.

I fell in love with Valerie Singleton in the early 1960's and have been smitten ever since. Please check the flag locker for her and Christopher Trace.

I'm still waiting on my faddy... do I pluck it or what other preparation does it require? I hope it is succulent as I quite enjoy getting my lips around a juicy morsel.

On our way again. Green button - 25 knots, ETA Hawaii April 21st. A relaxing time at sea. As a reminder, for something different, there is an extensive library in our occifers bar/smoking room. Relax in an overstuffed leather chair with a good book and Havana. There is, of course, also a well stocked bar at that location.

Leave the preparation to cook (his gourmet version got him the soubriquet Sweet Faddy Adams). Just watch out for the lead shot. Wouldn't want you broaching the Devcon to fix your false knashers.

25 knots? that's too fast for water skiing. I think I will read a book. The Ashley Book of Knots is always a contemplative favourite. Anyone need a fancy mat to trip over whenever you get up in the night for a pee?

I know, lets have a full board of Trade sports and then we can use the speed to catch up. We need one anyway, it's the only way to get the plaggy stewards to take their washing in so they can pack the suitcases.

We've got Mr McCloggie's chief cutout hanging over the stern trying to light up the afterburners, but the draught keeps blowing out his lighted rags on the stick.

You can use a high energy ignitor pack to light the afterburners and for the post curry flatulent terpsichorals. The flaming rag is only good for the latter.

Would a Mars Bar come in handy?
