I don't need fancy Tupperware boxes, I is a poor injuneer so can't afford Cornflakes or Weetabix

Indeed she does, but there again some people know the internal workings of Buck House better than me.
However Chez Serang dosent need Tupperware as the pantry is neither cold or damp. The IOM GB has only two seasons, Damp and July.

Love it, LOVE IT.... who says the Irish don't have a sense of humour

P.S. You get lovely tea and buns in Buck House as well and not a Tupperware plate in sight

My Sovereign's choice of bowel grip is not mine. My Tupperware has no-added-sugar-salt muesli and another with oat bran (also others for cat biscuit and chicken treats). I have it in the morning while feeding the cats and follow it with the daily pills and fruit. None of this counts as breakfast which is something to be relished rather than being a regular comfort.

Tomorrow! Well, Sunday as it is now 0025z, tomorrow I am going to have bacon, sausage, egg and mushrooms. Read and weep. (First time since January. No game of GO tomorrow)

Sounds like Red Rum's diet. When walking to town to get the morning paper do you feel the urge to break into a canter or jump the neighbours fence.

It is a successful diet for creating an urge of a morning. However the direction of said urge precludes any long walk until it has been sated.

I know the British are obsessed with the need for regularity but I thought an offshore island would have a more enlightened, Hibernio, attitude. Alas no. Keep straining and applying Preperation V.

You conflate enlightenment with anal retention. It is the straining that did for the last Henry. Presumably the last Richard played a looser game.

I have a friend (well she was until I told her during Zoomtails the world would have better things to put right after covid19 than provide schools for ignorant tarts - we agree on the population being too high but her remedy is fanciful). She rails against a Sunday carvery because the gravy is 'generic'. Now I know why. I hope you take the 'seasons' as a given. Colour and viscosity can be determined by less intimate observation.

A good pub carvery is hard to beat, an average carvery is also hard to beat. And I am unanimous on that and will book no opposition.

And the good news is that you don't have to visit the UK, Dublin offers better quality and VFM.

About the least expensive meal 'out', here (before LD) but I believe E-S on prices in Dublin but that is the same with the UK. Brother was scandalised at the prices over here, very often being more than central London. Falcon's Nest was around GBP 8 for one course. The Mitre in Ramsey around GBP 11 - the latter is doing delivery-out three courses for around GBP 15 at present. Better beer in the latter.

The sludge tank I can handle but the faecal tank causes me problems. OK, Granny wins again and the bugger on the fo'csle with his muffler and piece-box can drive her home to...…. Scunthorpe, I believe. It was going to be Douglas but she said she'ed rather be baked into a loaf in Inglis's Bakery.

Where the hell is this ship? The star gazers have taken to their bunks in case some virus strikes. They all have full blown HIV and Aids, touches of Gon and Syph, weepy willies and balls down to their knees.
I despair.
If they could catch C 19 from Saphire in Mombasa or Amanda (Charlie) in Antwerp they would be ashore before you could say Jack Robinson. Funny old World.

And on we drift.
