After we've all indulged in our favourite remedy, perhaps Mr. McCloggie would be so kind to get the cutouts to single up in preparation for departure. (But QUIETLY, please!)

Navigation department report to the bridge for the usual attitude adjustment to clear our minds.

Tmac, suggest you hold your tea tin under the voice pipe to receive your usual freshener from the bridge. (Or, you can use the spigot on the tube from the header tank)

Hair of the dog that bit me usually works, so one of those please, steward, and one of those, one of those over there, one of that one on the end, and a pint of best to wash it down. Oh, and a rum chaser to keep it all down.

On my way Tom, if I'm not there in 10 minutes, start without me.

Sounds like it was a pack of hounds that chased you round the deck last night, with you shouting "Wait for me, I've got the anchor to get up". Didn't look like an anchor, but there are always carrots, have you ever noticed?

Houston tomorrow -- then we will have sufficient funds to visit some more exotic (change from erotic?) places. As long as they are somewhere warm with cheap (but top quality) booze.

Currently taking suggestions (decent and proper) as to where we should go.

Probably best to have the disucssion on the garden deck -- lots of chairs to relax, and the newest stainless steel bar on the ship. Farmer John, perhaps you could send some Plasticos up to "man" the bar (another oxymoron that!) and bring up some trays of horses ovaries.

By the way, those two Yankee subs are still hovering around Kingston -- they think we are still there.

Don't worry about the US subs they will probably either collide or torpedo each other.

OK. Singled up fore and aft and indeed slipped in total silence. I sent a written message to the bridge and the use of the GD signalling equipment ensured that we got he right of way to proceed. All tokens and keys have been returned to the bridge main signalling frame.

I must admit I was happy to complete the exercise in silence as my head was still sore from the reggae music, cocktails and rum from the previous evening!

Right. I will join you all on the Garden Deck. Platicos - a full English fry up please with some champagne, orange juice and some Guinness for when I feel better. We can discuss the US subs in a civilised manner on the Garden Deck but I reckon they will be too busy chasing each other anyway and if we launch a decoy they will be too busy to bother us anyway.

Huston here we come! My last visit there was for an offshore conference but I did meet some lovely ladies who were manning our stand!

McC

All the finest Horses' bits have been prepared, all the most exquisite booze is available in the finest condition, let the amusements begin.

America is a closed book to me, I have never been there though I do have relatives there somewhere. I expect I will bump into them if I go ashore, can't be that big.

When I was in the USA and the folks asked me where I was from, their reply to my answer was always, "Is that near London?"
