World Cup

What on earth is Sterling doing in this team, he is utter rubbish we deserve to lose to this Tunisian team.

It could have been embarrassing without Saint Harry Kane showing the other forwards how to do the job properly.

Having watched a few games I am disappointed in the standard.
I am begining to hate this passing back to the goalkeeper (not as bqd as that horrible noise at the "cup" in SA). Could this be the result of changing the rules how the keeper can hande the ball?

Belgium 1, England 0, and that was a fair result.

As both teams had qualiied for the final 16 they did not try too hard in my opinion especially when some of England's best players sat on the bench!!!!

Hi Deckie 71
Aussies are now out thanks to the coach who never played the best man we had. For me there were to many Hollywood stars involved, I think they should have had the red card at the beginning it would have stopped all the shenanigans.

"The Beautiful Game" as it is referred to is turning out to be far from it. The antics of some of the players who are or think they have been fouled and are down writhing in agony are a few secods later up and running about. The argueing with the referee on his descisions and the clls for him to look at the video replays. Many of these things to make the game better are havng the opposite effect. I feel sorry for fans who have travelled great distances and high ticket prices to see their team and end up seeing the second squad (England and Belgium). I always was under the impression they had to field their best possible team.
I used to watch one game and record the other game being played at the same time for later viewing but I am now very diillusioned and will be selective in my viewing!!!

Some sort of penalty should be given to that referee as well, he should be given a shoo off from where important games are played. It was misery to watch the game turn into a pushing, showing, butting, climbing, rolling, screaming, cursing and gesticulating match.

I agree with S.J.B. as this was the worst game I watched in the iternational game. The Ref lost control and all the fouls and rough play should never been allowed. This constant arguing with him should not have been allowed and if it had persited a red card would have been the result.
When it is brought down to this performance by a bunch of prema donna's it shows lack of respect for the fans who have travelled for a long way and paid lots of money so see this disgusting performance. I have watched nearly evey game (i record the one if two are on at the same time) and have to give kudos to the host nation for the magnificnt venues and organisation. OUTSTANDING RUSSIA

You did not quite make it, but you were close. And small comfort that it may be, it was an entertaining game played by two teams that played daringly and with full effort. Let us hope the English will give their team the welcome home that other teams who got this far usually gets.

Football in the game that I particularly follow but I do like it when any of the home Nations have a success and if my memory serves me correct all the pundits said the guy who wore the paper bag over his head and wears a waistcoat and missed the penalty as a team of inexperienced young men and will get nowhere well he got the last 4 so I think he's done a pretty good job
