Was in this port mny times and this is a very tight squeeze.
At the grain termnal I backed in which was a first. Had amber duram wheat for the local pasta makers.

Went there a couple of times in the early 70's with paper pulp from Norway whilst working with Robertson's of Glasgow. Nice wee Port.

That was a regular on 'Tourmaline" and pulp from Norway. I was on vacation when it ran up on the beach when the mate on watch fell asleep. Caused quite a stir as it managed to oo the sady part right beside the road.

Was on Tourmaline 26.04.1973 to 26.06.1974 W.Adair, Alex MacInnes and W.M somebody were the Skippers, worked on Amethyst prior to that and Topaz after, great company and crews.

OK Gordon I confess. The signature you could not read was me.
I sailed as master on her from March 1973 until July 1975 with time off on vacation.
