The one I carry is rather like my second pipe. It would be a poor smoke if lit, the bowl is too big. It is used for 'borrowing'.

Aye aye Cap'n Tom.

Been there, done that. Follow me. Not keen on dinghy racing though, not unless there's a decent size outboard on the transom. (LOL). Prefer something a bit bigger, say 36 ft sloop for a blast round the buoys myself.

Each to their own Dartskipper. Nice cruiser with a pair of Screaming Gimies or V8 Cats will do for me.

I said performance --choices include Express 37' (14 knot potential), 48' ketch rigged cat, and IC-24s (modified J-24s). There are of course Hobies and 420s for the more youthful.

Remember this is a nostalgia site so we can probably arrange a football match with the locals.

Not a bad idea Tom. May I suggest we play Mr Varley in goal, I've heard nothing gets past him.
I would of course volunteer to play Right back, and I hear that SSR is pretty handy on the right wing, Not to sure about the positions of the rest of the crew.

After what you're planning for the cat. Not sure I want to be in sports clothes with any of you. Best we stick to what we know (drink).

And don't think I will pass over any allusions to goal mouth area and my sylph like interference fit.

I always assume the supine position when sport is mentioned, though I might take on a 420, given this is a fantasy. I used to, but now I am a little less limber.

Wot, no Fireballs?
The Express 37 sounds OK, although we did clock 14 knots in Orcella, (76 ft Frans Maas) on a broad reach when heading North in the Pacific.

What Rules football are we playing, Tom? NFL ?CFL? Association? Aussie Rules? Gaelic?

Those fast Fairey Huntsmen and Swordsmen were OK, BB. Twin turbo cheapo Fords gave them a good shove. If anything went "bang", you could easily get another one.

Not a Fireball in sight -- used to race them back in the late 60's -- fun boat -- found that it could actually be surfed on a broad reach with bare poles and no rudder in a 45 knot squall on an inland lake. Also capsized to windward one day with the Admiral out on the wire -- wasn't too popular that day.

With the British Virgins being under English jurisdiction I suppose we should stick to their version --- some call it soccer.

Here we are -- anchored off the Bitter End Yacht Club. Fine catered supper ashore this evening, courtesy of Pusser's due to our exemplary order.

Vegemite!!!! None of that crap in our engine room, me and the Chief, Tmac, hail from Norn Iron and we are carnivores. Ever heard of a vegetarian Fry? No, I think not, we leave that sort of nonsense to the woosies on the mainland.
Mr mcCloggs throw a T-bone on the pan, make it two, and a few onions. A wee silver gravy boat of whiskey cream sauce on the side never fails to excite.

Has to be by applying a lit propane torch to the substance -- bunker C will burn a bit faster -- other than that I believe they both taste the same.

And for those who dont believe.....
Nessie,s (Loch ness monster) husband was struck by our bow on the way up to Inverness a couple of years ago. Part of his Jaw bone is attached........
This was found when we had our forward thrusters cleaned out in a Christmas lay up.
