Correct. I hope you are not taking the wee wee Mr Smith, like clicking on the image instead of fitting the 100 plus pieces together before naming the vessel. Naughty boy 'Lancsman' had that bad habit. Spoils it for everyone when it happens.

As if I would stoop so low! Your penchant for leaving pennant numbers and names on the some of the images makes it quite easy. I have a particular like for Jig-saws!

I leave warship pennant numbers on for 'NickNZs' benefit . He still has to look up the vessel before answering. I don't leave the name of the ship on.

Deleted todays puzzles. Will post some more tomorrow. Slept on it and decided that until I come across a puzzle maker that can't be manipulated I won't be posting anymore from 'jigsawplanet'.

The player can see the image without completing the puzzle if they want to. And if I post one with up to 300 pieces the player if they want can change it to 24 pieces. Just a waste of my time and no respect for others when we get someone cutting corners. It stands out a mile what they are up to when they clear the board in a short time. Can't be getting any enjoyment out of doing them, so makes you wonder why they do it. Off for a look round now.

JustWin, take your time in finding a suitable puzzle out there that is ‘cheat’ proof. The enjoyment of solving a puzzle, is in solving it within the boundaries of the old cardboard ones.
To use the tools you describe, can offer little satisfaction. All it proves, is that one is lacking integrity.
I was told off yesterday, for calling a Spitfire American! How petty can you get, when it carries Stars.
I look forward to you finding a puzzle that cannot be solved by cheating. It does you no service, nor the person who wakes up to find a whole list of puzzles ‘solved’. I appreciate your persistence.

Bugger, I have just picked up how to cheat and now you are going to change the platform!

I stopped posting on this site because I believed my honest endeavours could never come near the whizz-kids but I continued to plod away at my own pace. And I am quite content to amuse myself in this enjoyable way. Is it harmful?

Count me in as your cohort! I am a little disppointed at times that the WKs have immediately answered all JSs, but if it looks interesting, I will plod away and finish it for my own satisfaction.
Rgds.

HMS Montrose.

There are no......widgets? That I could see that you can cheat with. Pic was a bit small ( not the best eyesight).
The thing I liked on the last jigsaw was that you could change the colour of the background to see the pieces more clearly sometimes. But that is only a minor thing.

Did it, but couldn’t read the name clearly!
Having read the above comments, I now understand why there were so few ‘competitors’, and the same person was so damn quick!
I knew I could change the background, and once accidentally hit the ghost button. But that just confused me, and to be honest. What is the point of doing a jigsaw puzzle if you are going to cheat?

Glad you have found what I believe is the solution. Just hope you can adjust the size of the overall pic!

About the size. When the puzzle is cut and the pieces shown, just use the wheel on your mouse to adjust the size. To move the frame about, just left click keeping the button down and move the pieces to centre. The name of the test puzzle was left on because it was just a test. Names will be removed, but pennant numbers will be left on or part of them. Will post some later to see how it goes.
