Best looking bank boats
This is obviously going to be subjective but for my money, the best lookers were the last Fleetbank Class (early 1970s) and the Fish Class (late 1970s), although the Harland's 16,000dwt come very close.
Perhaps someone will start a "Worst looking Bank Boat" thread! For me the Mara and Spey. They just didn't have that Bank Line look about them. |

The Mara and the Spey weren't built for Bank Line I'm led to believe and were bought off the stocks.
The Fleetbank and Corabank class looked good when loaded but with my poor sense of humour after sailing with the likes of Mc Kay and Taylor the best looking Bank Boats were from the taxi once you'd paid off! |

They all looked pretty compared to the monsters that ply the seas now. There is a photo on SN that still comes up on google of the Olivebank fully loaded on a buoy at Gravesend. Thats my favourite and i have it as wallpaper.
