Why is everyone so upset about 25 knots? I thought I was doing the world a favour by reducing our carbon footprint to a negative value in addition to consuming a negative amount of fuel, hence adding to our reserve and negating the need to refuel at anytime in the near future, and at the same time providing the ability to sell the surplus to whomsoever at a magnificent profit. After all, we've got all the time in the world to either get where we are going, or sail around in ever decreasing circles to eventually disappear up our own external anal orifice. (Emulating the Fu-Fu bird.)

Please note, that if Mr. Varley could complete his work on cold-fusion, we wouldn't need to run the gennies to power the microwave to warm up the take away.

Cold fusion is boxed off but I am simply holding the patent to encourage the oil major's to provide us MGT 5.5 FOC (actually, with my cut, less than FOC). I would ruin them if I licensed the process.

I see we have a pilot. Why 24 of the buggers? We don't have enough orange boxes if they're all lengthways challenged.

Why are you heating the space when you want to cool it? Unless this fan is in some way a reverse heat engine (it had better not-a, coz heat don't travel from the cooler to then hotter) it is warming the space and unless you are in line of forced convection and its resultant cooling of you you are warming the rest of us up. Kindly desist and pass another coldie.

Tmac, we will use the tried method under your aegis, using the guyline from No 3 hatch inboard after derrick, that is what is going to do the job. You know Sir William is a little vague when it comes to bits of string. We need you and nobody values more William Bilge-rat, our bountiful owner.

Dte to the fact its Easter Holidays over here the cleaning Technician is not able to attrend till Monday at least.. Just have to sweat it out till then.

Tmac, this is a particularly difficult and down right dirty job my friend. One has to hang out over a fence to get the cleaning Lance in a position to shift the aforementioned gunge.
Hence my decission to call in a technician and spare you from putting your back out or straining your black bush arm.

"straining his Black Bush arm". It is like one of Johnny Weismuller's legs (when he was alive).

A cleaning technician? Why must even the cadets get grandiose titles?

Strange environment to work in down there Farmer John. when you are looking at beautiful sights from the bridge wing just thing what my engineers are looking at!..its hot, noisy and stressful down there. Many hours can be spent without seeing daylight. I admire and respect my engineers for what they do. The way they act is their way of relieving the stresses of it all.
Steward! take another case of Black Bush to the engineer control room please.

Just over two years since we sailed from Easter Island, I have arranged for Big Party in the Tiki bar, much food, the Fonograph, torrents of liquor and a standing invite for any who have sailed, wished to have sailed or just drop in when they can to attend. C'mon everyone!

Our electronics officers are working on a hologram projection for the stage in the PX lounge as I write this.

Food and drink from our copious store of comestibles of all descriptions. If there is a beer we don't stock, one sample and we will brew it for you or give you a free shot of Milk Of Amnesia, after that you won't care or even remember.

Our electronics officers is an electronic officer, aka Sparky. Is hologram projection another name for the Walport Bell & Howell?

To put it in Latin; hologrum my arseum.

He's known as Sparky is he?

That explains why we got this instead of Eddie Cochrane I suppose;

Little creep. Even Miss Beck's smack across the knuckles with her ruler didn't impart sufficient virtuosity for V to perform that well. Better put him up only as a Hologram otherwise little creep going to get hands caught in knuckle-crushing keyboard-lid nightmare extravaganza.

Are we having this celebration or sitting round grousing? The season for that doesn't start for ages.

That sounds more fun than setting up the Bell and Howl for 3D. I'll clear the ten little fingers from the pianoforte once the little creep has stopped shaking his stumps at me.
