Just jumped ship from SN, having seen the latest updates, and great that this site exists to replace it. Brief History, born in Partick, on the baks of the Clyde, brought up on Islay where dad worked in Bunnahabhain Distillery, so got used to all the puffers calling there, also, dad's cousin, was the Senior Captain for MacBraynes, so regular free trips on Loch Ccarron, Loch Ard, Loch Broom, whenever they called at Bunnahabhain, so very much of a watery background. Now living in Oxford, and happily retired now.

I'd love to, no photo's though i'm afraid, as I was only 11 when we left Islay due to dad being made redundant, but got a few stories.
