I am inclined to agree with Geoff re Yellowstone - or Jellystone for Yogi Bear aficionados.
Germany for most castles maybe, but if one counts hill villages as former castles then Italy would be in with a shout.

Time and Neville will tell.

Apart from my foregoing rubbish (above), thanks Neville for your quiz.
Those that I can understand are always of interest.

Edit:
If you want to visit nowadays without fear of trespassing etc - It is on the Coastal path between Bat's Head and Durdle Door.

I swam the aqueduct on a school trip, one cold March day in 1976! I have no idea where the certificate went!

Acording to the song Route 66 "Winds from Chicago to L.A. more than 2,000 miles all the way....."

Known as "The Mother Road."

"standin' on a corner in Winslow, Arizona." leaves me 541 road miles from Santa Monica and 1557 road miles from Chicago giving a sort of a total of 2098 road miles.

Me, I've just finished Henry Cole's book about his third motorbike trip along the '66, and I remain to be convinced that it is The Holiday for the Memsahib and me.

Marginally off topic but I can't argue with Engine Serang sentiments. I live in Canada for over 40 years about 90 minutes from the US border, during that time I cossed over once at the Thousand Islands via the Ivy Lea Bridge initially faced with totally obnoxious Border Crossing "guards" who would have done well working in Alcatraz. Once entering the States for mile after mile all we saw were run down towns and poverty. Trump wants to make Canada the 51st state, I guess he wants to drag them down to US levels. Never went to the states again and zero inclination to do so agai
